2017 February

Allen shaved his beard. He likes to be funny and shave crazy designs to make us laugh. I won't kiss him when he does the ugly mustache. We went ice skating at the South Davis Rec Center for family night. We did ok on skates. Lilly liked to be next to the wall or next to Dad. Maddie was rockin the walker/skater helper. James was fearless as always. He learned quickly, but he also fell a lot. We came home with bumps and bruises, but we had big smiles on our faces. Greyhawk park is a few blocks away from our house. WE like to walk to dog to the park and let the kids play. The park has a zip line and of course we all had to try it out.

James started shaving his mustache. He got a little crazy with the shaving cream.

And he still fits in the dryer.

 Rebecca and Kevin ringing in the new year with us. Kevin made us yummy Mexican street tacos. 

We stayed at Jenise and Rocky's house. The Gilbert's gatehered to celebrate Allen and Elizabeth's birthday. On Sunday we attended the blessing of Lindsay Cook.

Allen's 36th birthday dinner. We had Sonoran hot dogs. Allen got a beard collection for his birthday. Nice armpit beard 😆.

James received the Arronic Priesthood an was ordained a Deacon.

New Year's day at Elizabeth and RJ's home in Shelly Idaho.

Jenise and Rocky had thier 5th child. Joy Shaw. Grandma Gilbert with Allen's and Jenise's kids.

We took the frontrunner train and the bus to the Museum on Natural Curiosity with Mandie Gochnour and her kids. It made for a long day, but it was fun.

Phyllis Woolf Cutright passed away and was laid to rest by her husband Phillip M Cutright. She had 6 children Patricia, Craig, Susan, Brian, Eileen, and David. Alison Cutright Gilbert is the 3rd child of Craig P Cutright. Her funeral was nice. We are glad she is reunited with her husband now. I learned that she worked on soldering the control boards for the missiles during her career. Now, my husband Allen Gilbert works for Northrop Grumman maintaining the missile systems. Phyllis only had 1 sister named Karma. During their adult life they lived in the same neighborhood. We finally got a puppy. It is a shih tzu and poodle. I call it a shi poo. He is named Koko. He sleeps in Lilly's room.
