It was nice to have everyone visit for the Blessing of James Allen Gilbert. We were so lucky to have both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lilly loved having so many people to play with. We just loved being with family and having fun. Saturday night we were outside eating dinner and the sprinklers came on. It was so funny, we all ran but Lilly just froze in the middle of all the sprinklers. She didn't know what to do. The ironic thing is that it was the second time the sprinklers came on when we were eating dinner with family outside. I guess we will never learn.
It is great to know that through all of our good times and bad times we will always have our family there for us. We are so grateful to know that we can be together in this life and in the life to come.

We are sorry we weren't able to make it up! Jake had work all day Saturday until midnight, so it was impossible. I am glad everything went well. James looks so cute in his Blessing outfit.
