Harvest Season

This has been a good week. My house has been mostly clean, most of the time. I met a new neighbor that I enjoy spending time with. She has kids too and the most amazing thing is that her husband likes fly fishing just like Allen. The kids are growing and learning. I love them so much. I wish I could give them more of myself, but I need to take naps. Luckily Lilly is in pre-school so she can use her over abundance of energy. We got a great deal on a mini van last month. I must admit I do love the space. I am officially a mini van mama.

Our garden was a flop this year. Papa was gone, Jen and Jonathan were working on the sprinklers, and we had a new baby. We did get some apples off the trees. I was sad that the plumb tree didn't produce a lot. I think we need to prune the trees and spray for bugs next year. There is much to do outside, Papa did a great job keeping the yard and the garden. We didn't recognize all he did until he was gone for the summer.

Lilly had a fun 4th birthday party. We have decided to have parties for the kids on even years. This year James (2) And Lily(4) had a party with friends. Next year will just be with the family.
