James at the Fire Station

James and his Preschool class visited the Fire Station. The firefighters were so nice. James loved being with real firefighters and sitting in a real fire truck. I got some great pictures. At the end of the presentation the firefighters got a call and had to leave. We all hurried out of the fire station and watched the truck pull out. James had fun, and I had fun too. We learned that if you call 911 on a cell phone the call will go the the 911 dispatch in the city where you are at the time. Also, I learned that with a cell phone your location can be identified almost to the spot. The cell phone signals together with the 911 operators work together locate the person or emergency within 3 feet. Amazing.
