Family Home Evening at the Gas Station

This year we have been experimenting with the Public Transportation. The kids and I have been taking the bus into Salt Lake and Allen would pick us up at a bus stop after work. This plan worked 2-3 times. We met Allen at the bus stop by Crown Burgers in Salt Lake. But on this particular day I thought that if we got off at a different bus stop, than we could save time. Well, we got off at a different bus stop. I called Allen to let him know of our new location and after I told him the address and his phone died. We waited under a shade tree for an hour while Allen drove all over town. Luckily, we had water and bagels with cream cheese. Eventually, we went to the corner gas station, had a FHE lesson, and the kids got to have an Iceee for the first time. Papa came and picked us up. I met up with Allen. The kids had a great time. And I will stick to getting off at the Crown Burger bus stop every time. Thanks Papa! You saved the day.
