Disneyland

We did it! We found a time to go to Disneyland for the very first time together as a family. It was just perfect. Swimming in the hotel pool the night we arrived. Then getting to the entrance early and racing to the Cars Ride the first day and the Star Wars ride the second day. After 2 rides on the Star Wars ride Mom was sick. SUPER AMAZING! We happened to be at Disneyland the same day as Jake and Brandy's family was there. We didn't even plan it. The only thing that could make Disneyland better is to be there with more family. I loved seeing my brother Jake there. It was like a snapshot back to our childhood. He is always up for an adventure. Except when it came to the Tower of Terror. Allen and Brandy took all the kids while Jake and I hung out in the shade. We didn't want to get a sour stomach. All the kids seemed to enjoy it. We took a cool break inside while we met Elsa and Anna from Fozen. We got drawing lessons from an animator of how to draw Donald Duck. Then we went to Soarin over the World ride. After that I was so tired. We had to head back to the hotel. We left around 2 or 3 every afternoon. We came back on day 1 and 3. On day 2 we went to Huntington Beach! Lilly, James and Maddie were fearless on the big roller coaster. The girls didn't like Indiana Jones, but James loved it. He even got to sit in the drivers seat. I guess the haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean creeped them out a bit...skeletons. We did world of color the first night and fireworks the 3rd night. Fireworks were my favorite. Standing with my family at the funnest place on earth. I kissed Allen, hugged the kids and cried. The fireworks show was accompanied by a visual show projected onto It's a small World. (my mom and dads favorite ride..they honeymooned in Disneyland many years ago.) The family loved doing Splash Mountain over and over. We had to wait in line forever on our enchanted morning to go on my personal favorite...Peter Pan. It broke while we were in line, but we waited and it was worth it. A short simple ride, but nostalgic. Allen took the kids on the Tea Cups. I took Maddie and James on the Snow White ride. Lilly didn't want to go because the wicked Queen gives her the willies. Well, she was right. It was a scary ride. When the beautiful queen is looking in the mirror then she turns around and is disguised as the old lady with the apple. Creepy! Family time was amazing. Allen is the best husband and father. We laughed and played together. I always want to be with my own family. <3
