Bear Lake 2009

Bear Lake was an eventful trip. Kambria (Jake and Brandys litte girl) got a crazy infection and had to go to the hospital in the middle of the night. Luckily, everything is ok and she is getting better. They had to drive to Logan in the middle of the night and she had a 103 temp.
The water was nice and warm on Friday but the wind was blowing like crazy. We were determined to stick it out so we stayed at the beach for 2 hours waiting for the wind to stop. Jake, Allen, and I went into the water and played in the waves. I liked to dive into the big waves. We went back to the beach on Saturday and the weather was great. We had our fun in the sand and on the water and just as we were getting ready to leave the crazy wind started again. Lilly was a water baby every time we went to the beach she was in the water. I was surprised to see her so willing to swim, she is usually a little nervous around water. I think she felt comfortable at Bear Lake because the water was so shallow.
I really had a fun time with family. Grandma and Papa are so much fun to play with, Natalie and BJ are always prepared with enough food and fun projects for the kids to do, Kim and Ryan are so kind and help everyone feel relaxed. All the kids were so fun and willing to share with Lilly and James. Thanks everyone for such a great vacation, we love you all so much!
